The Bee Cave Arts Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 was founded ten years ago with a dream and a plan to enrich the lives of our community in Bee Cave, Texas. Since that time we’ve built the Bee Cave Sculpture Park, placed artist-created benches around the Hill Country Galleria, hosted annual Lake Travis ISD Art Exhibitions for elementary, middle and high school students, and offered creative summer art camps for the children in our community.
We are now thrilled to introduce our new and very exciting Community Art Center called The Hive, located in the Hill Country Galleria across the street from Barnes and Noble. The Hive opened October 19, 2018 with 4,500 sq. ft. of exhibition and classroom space with the goal of promoting the arts, enriching the quality of life in our community, and enhancing the experience of all people that live and visit our community.
The Hive features artwork by artists of all ages. There is professional work by local artists and the artwork of our local students on display. The Hive also offers a hands-on kid’s area for children to create art with their parents, various community service projects for visitor participation, and art classes for adults and children. It is a very exciting time for the Bee Cave Arts Foundation and we are very happy to be able to provide so many more services for our community. Click here to view highlights from our first 10 years!
