The Bee Cave Arts Foundation is proud to host an exhibition of The Cuernavaca Arts Cooperative on the weekend of May 16 and 17 at the Bee Cave Sculpture Park in the Old School House. This exhibition will feature works of art available for purchase by very talented local artists.
The CAC was founded in December of 2013 by Jodi Bade and Maura Schaffer. Their mission is to create a community of artists that network, share ideas, support, inspire, teach, and exhibit their work. Though this group is still very young, they have already grown to include over 50 local artists in our area.
Currently the group has an exhibition at the Commons of the Larua’s Library branch of the Westbank Community Library located on Bee Caves Road. This show has a theme “Of Water and Earth” which explores the human connection to water and earth through many different artistic lenses. Due to the volume of work there will be two exhibitions. The first round will be on display from Jan 20th through March 6th. The second will be up from March 8th through April 25th.
We invite everyone from the community to come out for the reception on Sunday March 8th, 1:30-3:30 or to stop by to view the works during library hours. For more information go to http://www.cuernyarts.com
